While walking along the shore in Edmonds yesterday afternoon we saw a couple of people swimming in the Sound. Both individuals were swimming close to shore. A few minutes later we caught up with one of the swinners after he had come ashore and had a quick chat. He apparently has gotten in the hapit of a daily swim depite the winter cold after the local pools closed because of Covid. If it gets particularlly cold he will don a wetsuit but he wasn’t wearing one yesterday even though the temperature was in the 40s. And I gather the water in the Sound was a similar temperature.
