After our encounter with the swimmer we were heading back from the beach walking between the Edmonds breakwater and the Ferry Terminal when we stopped to talk to a man in a drysuit. He was about to head out into the Shoreline Sanctuary section of the Sound to catch site of harbor seals, etc. This person was very prepared for the cold water - hence the drysuit
